Jack Got Glasses!!

We picked up Jack's Sponge Bob glasses yesterday afternoon and he is loving them. After he put them on he said "momma, I can see" It was so funny. He started spelling signs and looking at his feet and hands and friends. He only has to wear them for reading, handwriting, drawing, but can use them for watching TV. His buddy Odin thinks that I am the Glasses Fairy. "Miss Amanda, Can you bring ME glasses?" :)

Princess Parma

Our Favorite Beagle Karma!! Famous!

Anna misses our old neighbor's dog, Karma. Unable to say the "K" sound, she calls her Parma. We found this shirt at a second hand store, and she LOVES it. She touches the crown and sings "Princess Parma, Princess Parma" to (Where is thumpkin).

Mrs. Dunkin's Birthday

One Saturday, Jack was eating pasta and said to Clayton, "Can we have a pasta party next weekend?" and Clayton replied "What are we celebrating?" and Jack said, "I don't know" and then he asked if it could be a pajama party too. "Well it is almost valentine's day, should we celebrate that and ask Kelly and Beth to come over?" and Jack thought for a moment and said,

"Well, Friday IS Mrs. Dunkin's birthday." We all roared with laughter....a little background on Mrs. Dunkin:

Jack's friend Robinson has an imaginary friend named Mrs. Dunkin. She is 90 (well 91 now), lives in a tree, has a black cat, and reads books all day. About a year ago, the boys starting talking about Mrs. Dunkin and calling each other it fondly when they did something silly or fun.

So we had a birthday celebration for a friend's imaginary friend!

Anna Starts Swimming lessons!

After watching Jack for 6 months, Anna now gets her chance to turn into a fishy. She has been very excited and jumping into the water. She really likes singing songs and going up and down. She will be ready for her pool by summer :)

Underwater World!!

What a good big brother!

To run around and swim with the fishes, we made a stop at Underwater World. The kids had a great time and loved the Big Turtle. Here are some pics from the cell phone, but pics none the less. I got to stay home and put together bookcases :) Next time I'll have to go.
